International Relations

Selected for Exchanges in Portugal is Resident of University Residence

I am Samuel, 22, of Tarrafas-EC, do the fifth semester of Degree in Mathematics. I dedicate myself much to my course and I think this has been the reason for my rating as the selection criteria included academic performance index and complementary activities.

Regarding staying away from my family and live with people who do not know, it will not be an impact for me because I live about 2.5 years in URCA's University Residence where I live with students from several municipalities. The novelty is now live with people with language and totally different culture from mine.

With my trip to Europe, I crave approval in the disciplines and I learn a lot from the Portuguese culture with which I will have more contact.

Preparation for International Mobility

The International Relations Office continued the preparation of selected students for international exchange by EBW+ Erasmus Mundus program. This time the meeting with the students aimed to address the latest details as: receipt of visa, receipt of travel tickets, transportation to the airport in Juazeiro of North, how to proceed in the airports of Recife and São Paulo, embarkation/disembarkation at the airport Lisbon and Port as well as ask questions of students.

Students inciam mobility from the 25th of August with initial destination the University of Porto and participate in the "Welcoming Days of the EBW+ Project" in the period from 27 to 29. After the welcome, each student will be sent to your University destination and in that students begin a new stage, as Vilaneide Santos follows the Porto/Portugal to Stockholm/Sweden and Wesley Sousa to Vila Real/Portugal. Ana Carla Morais and Maria Chaves remain in Porto/Portugal.
During the "Welcoming Days of the EBW+ Project" will be held several sessions and workshops related to themes about the experience in Europe, academic and professional career.
