Selected students in EBW + program Erasmus Mundus 2015
First stage




Completed the first stage of the application process for mobility of EBW + program Erasmus Mundus which the URCA is one of the partner universities, were selected four students of teacher training courses (Licenciatura) three of of the Licenciatura in Pedagogy and a Licenciatura in Geography . These students will receive benefits of Consortium coordinated by the University of Porto - Portugal to carry out their mobility for periods of five to ten months in the host universities.
The students of the Licenciatura in Pedagogy, Ana Carla de Almeida Morais and Maria Jose Chaves will be accepted at the University of Porto and there remain for a period of five months. Also in Portugal, but in the city of Vila Real, students of the Licenciatura in Geography, Wesley de Sousa Lima will be hosted by the University of Tras-os-Montes and Alto Douro and your stay will be ten months.Already a student of Licenciatura in Pedagogy, Maria Vilaneide Vieira dos Santos will be hosted by Uppsala Universitet in Sweden and your mobility will last for five months.
The selected students will receive the following benefits:

Travel expenses to the host institution (round trip);

Health Insurance payment, accident and travel during the period of mobility and valid in the country of the host institution;

Monthly stipend of 1000 EUR;
-
Full payment of tuition fees at the host institution, if applicable.
The Regional University of Cariri - URCA and the International Relations Office - ARI congratulates all who applied and especially the four selected. Students already covered initiated procedures for early mobility in August 2015 and the International Relations Office will soon disclose details of the second stage for new nominations.

URCA signs of Adhesion to the Ibero-American Scholarship Program for Graduate Students Santander Universities
The Support Covenant for Scholarship Program Ibero-American for Graduate Students Santander Universities aims to provide the opportunity for mobility of students enrolled in undergraduate courses of universities associated with ABRUEM for Ibero-American universities. The student will be awarded a scholarship in the corresponding reals amount to € 3,000 (three thousand euros), according to the following principles:

It is regularly enrolled in undergraduate institution;
-
Have paid all disciplines planned for the first year or the 1st and 2nd semesters of their respective courses;
-
Have at most one failure per school period (year or semester);
-
Have the two best coefficients curriculum, according to the criteria of each institution;
-
Being able to communicate well in the destination country's language;
-
Get Study Plan assessed by URCA and workload consistent with that should develop semiannually on your drive. The validation of the credits earned in the host HEI will follow the standards of the home institution.
The scholarship amount will be credited once the current account of student ownership by Santander.

International Mission
The International Relations Advisor to the URCA, Prof. Dr. Fábio José Rodrigues da Costa, ends visit to universities in Portugal and Spain, after reunion with Dr. Ana Reis coordinator of the Erasmus Mundus Program at the University of Porto - UP. On the occasion it was treated in the next edition or second call of EBW + Program which the URCA is one of ten partner universities in Brazil. Also they dealt with the procedures for beginning the mobility of URCA students selected in the first convocatoria as well as cooperation agreements with other European universities involved in the Program.
The International Relations Advisor, Prof. Dr. Fábio José Rodrigues da Costa, participates in a meeting with Dr. Barbara Costa, Director of the International Relations Service, University of Porto - UP, aiming to treat cooperation projects due to the agreement between the URCA and the UP. Also addressed the EBW + Program which the URCA is one of the partner universities.


International Relations Advisor visiting the University of Tras-os-Montes and Alto Douro - UTAD / Vila Real - Portugal. The visit began at the Geology Museum whose director Prof. Dra. Elisa Preto Gomes. Then Prof. Dr. Fábio Rodrigues met with prof. Dr. Artur Sá to discuss cooperation projects between the Araripe Geopark and the Arouca Geopark Portugal.
